Descriptions & pricing for services offered in repairing and restoring photographs are based on labor charges of $40 per hour & do not include print costs. (See print pricing guide below to estimate printing costs.)

The following prices are average minimum charges as noted in the description. Depending upon the severity of damage, fading, & complexity of the image, all charges are billed at the normal rate.

Minor Repairs & Restorations (Labor Only)

Description: Dust spots & small, shallow scratch removal; improve details, contrast, and colors.

NOTE: Prices here are minimum estimated costs pending actual examination of the print by our staff.

Moderate Repairs & Restorations (Labor Only)

Description: Deep scratches, many dust spots or any large spots, cracked emulsion, but none missing; stain& spot removal, details restored, improved contrast &/or color corrected.

Prices here are minimum estimated costs pending actual examination of the print by our staff.

Major Repairs & Restorations (Labor Only)

Description: Heavily damaged print or negative. Emulsion has several deep cracks &/or some of emulsion is missing or flaking. Photo is torn or ripped, but not in two. Mold, stains & other problems may be evident. Includes all the above services as well as repairing the tears.

Extensive Repairs & Restorations (Labor Only)

These are photos torn in two or in pieces, have a lot of water, mold or stain damage, and generally look non-repairable. Most will include the problems listed above that will be repaired as much as possible.

We need to inspect the photo & have at least one undamaged image of the same person or subject matter to be able to give an accurate estimate of time & costs to repair such damage. Also, this allows us to make the most accurate correction & repair possible.

Please call to make an appointment for the restoration staff to inspect photos and give an estimate of the most accurate costs of repair. We have many options for you to choose from when getting your images repaired.

If you can't come in for a consulatation, please send all the above to us by a trackable shipping system, such as USPS Priority Mail, FedEx, or UPS. Include your email & contact information so we can notify you of the package's arrival & the estimate to repair or restore it.

Most photos of this category will usually start at $100.00 for a 5x7 (minimum size) and range upwards as the size and damage increases.
