PhotoArts Imaging Professionals Photography Workshops are for those photographers who would like to learn to produce their own enlarged prints from their B&W negatives. The workshops are for those who would just like to "see what it is like" in a professional's darkroom, or to "experience the magic" that occurs when the image begins to appear on the enlarging paper.

PhotoArts Photography Workshops are for the beginners who want to learn & for those who have printed before, but lost interest or got "too busy to keep it up". Darkroom procedures & photo printing take time, patience and a lot of practice. Kim Du Boise and her assistants will help you learn, have fun, & rekindle the passion for your photography. There is nothing like watching the image that you created appear on the paper in front of your eyes! The satisfaction is immense and exciting!

Take your photography to a new level of expression with a satisfying experience in our state-of-the-art darkroom/lab. Workshops are offered on a requested, rotating basis from the basics of exposing & developing film to making the final prints.

Private instruction classes are based upon the needs of the individual student(s). After viewing the student's work, with a discussion to determine current skills, we develop a course of instruction based upon the student's level, needs and projected outcomes. Any private class times are determined by the availability of an instructor & a convenient time for the student. Private classes have different materials provided; please contact us for more information.

Any requested workshop topics will be considered. All requests, especially involving travel, must be submitted in writing six weeks prior to the date requested. Non-local workshops must have all fees paid in full two weeks prior to class sessions. Travel expenses for instructors are added to the workshop cost.

Dates & classes are planned up to one year in advance by request. We are planning for 2004. Gift certificates for any workshop or individual instruction are available as gifts for birthdays, anniversaries, or any occasion.

Workshop fees have a non-refundable registration fee of $20 included, & all fees must be paid in full at least two (2) days prior to the start of the workshop. Cancellations must be made no later than one day before class begins. The same applies to all private instruction classes.

Any workshop or deposit fees paid, less the registration & materials will be refunded if these rules are followed. Registration may be applied to another workshop at a future date. The non-refundable fees still apply to the workshop cancelled by the participant.
